Hi, my name is Jen, I'm 23 years old and have been working in the care industry since I was 18 years old. I studied Health and Social Care at a level 3 standard in College and did my placements in both a special needs nursery and in an elderly care centre. After graduating with distinctions, I went to work in a private nursing home doing end of life care along with personal care and activities for dementia patients.
I currently have a part time role within the NHS where I am contracted to the mental health sector where I spend my days improving the safety and wellbeing of those under section, or in crisis within the community. This extends to helping update laws and procedures being used in the South East to benefit vulnerable adults and children to have person centered care and a quality of life that they deserve.
I specialise in elderly care as well as children and adults with autism/and or a learning disability and mental health conditions.
My colleagues and clients have described me as -
"Jen has an empathy led style that has resulted in her having many rave reviews. I have yet to ever hear of anyone reporting an issue with Jen's work of reliability. She has never let me down, nor shirked her duties or workload."
"Jen is one of the most thorough and compassionate people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and working with."
"Although you weren't my therapist, you were the best therapist I've ever had!"
"We felt so heard when talking to Jen about our daughter's struggles and were so pleased with the quality of life she'd gained in such little time."
Please contact me if you'd like to know more about how I could help and I'm sure we can figure something out :')
