PA Compliance Information/Expiry Dates

All PA certification should be checked against the following to find out if you require any refresher courses this year:

Certification – ALL

• Public Liability Insurance
• Car Insurance (business use only): every year: mandatory

Training – ALL

• Criminal Records Disclosure from the DBS: every 3 years mandatory
• Principle of Safeguarding Adults: every 3 years mandatory

Training – Personal Care Only

• Moving & Handling: every year
• First Aid Awareness & Basic Life Support: every 3 years*
• Food Safety, Nutrition & Hygiene: every 3 years*
• Health & Safety: every 3 years*
• Medication Management: every 3 years*
• Preventing the Spread of Infection: every 3 years*

*We are still in discussion with Bracknell Forest Council as to how certificated courses on these subjects can be accessed online by those on the Register. As soon as we have details, these will be sent to everyone who has enquired about them.
