Hi you can call me Rai. I am a trained nurse outside the UK since 2011. I worked as a nurse for 5 years in my country, I used to work in a hospital in the wards, emergency room and intensive care unit also as a nurse I worked in an ambulance with rescues and transfers of patients to hospitals.
Since I live in England I have dedicated myself to caring for people in their most diverse needs, I have used my skills as a nurse and my passion for caring for people to provide high standards of individualised care.
In these almost 10 years I have acquired vast experience in the care of the elderly and adults in different conditions such as Alzheimer’s, dementia, palliative care, recovery and rehabilitation, brain injury, learning disability, among others and domestic services.
I consider myself friendly, trustworthy, responsible, helpful in whatever I have within reach.
I have worked in care for over 3 years helping adults with learning disabilities, working with people with many different mental and physical needs and have also spent the past 7 years helping to care for my mum who has dementia and heart failure.
I’m a very happy, caring and trustworthy person and love meeting new people and helping others, I love a good chat (who doesn’t) and I enjoy hearing people’s stories. I love animals and have 2 dogs and 2 cats (would have a lot more but my husband won’t let me). I’m a real people person and get great satisfaction out of helping to make others lives that little bit easier.
When I’m not working, I love walking my dogs, making crafts and spending time in the garden, I like going on days out and love to travel when I can.
Although I don’t drive myself, I’m happy to use pubic transport, bike or to walk to get to where I need to be and more than happy to support clients to use there own transport to run errands and do any hobbies or activities they wish to take part in.
