I consider myself to be a friendly , happy, patient, energetic, caring , trustworthy person and have been working with the elderly and vulnerable adult for many years. I have first hand experience in helping, communicating and understanding their needs. I have 4 children of my own. My daughter now 39 has Spina Bifida which was very challenging at times taking a lot of time and patience. I enjoy my work giving the help and support needed the enable people to live in the comfort of their own homes. When i’m not working I like to make jewelry and take photos making photo albums and collages for the family as gifts, but most of all I love to spend time with my grandchildren.

My greatest love is doing d.i.y where I have undertaken many different large projects within my home and other peoples. I am able to turn my hand to most tasks, both large and small, to a high standard even though I am not a professional in any one given field.
I have two large dogs which I get great pleasure in owning and a very well balanced family of whom I am also very proud.
I enjoy many different films but like good period dramas and thrillers. I don’t like watching sport but will participate in anything. I am a confident person who is able to use discretion and diplomacy when required.
I also love food and sometimes mess around in the kitchen when time allows.
I would describe myself as very kind, calm, caring, mature mother, honest, educated, responsible, capable, very reliable, very friendly, enthusiastic, with a good sense of humour and am a good listener and use my initiative.
My background prior to having my family is Office Management/personnel, I enjoy helping others. Assisting people to stay independent in their homes is extremely rewarding and even though what I do is only small, I believe it adds real quality to their lives.

Happy to do extra hours from my home if feasible, i.e. Paperwork, typing, ironing, preparing food to freeze (crumbles,stews etc).
I worked for Procter & Gamble as a Senior Secretary for 15 years. I’ve now been a Domestic Service Provider for nearly 4 years and love my role. I have worked in a specialist dementia team for 9 years, caring for 21 years in total including in a private nursing home, a residential home and in the community and at an older peoples’ day centre. As long as it’s legal and I’m not going to hurt myself, I’m willing to help!
I offer a wide range of services. If you find it difficult to get out, I can help you with shopping; picking up prescriptions and pensions. I have worked previously in administration so can support you with administration and communication. I am a good listener and am happy just to spend time with you if you would like company sometimes.
